Out of the bleak Northern hemisphere; shivering, frozen feet tapping Winter 
the sun warms and reaches the Equator;

Vernal Equinox springs Life into action!  Awakens us to a bright idea to pursue,

 a spring in the step, the cardigan taken off, windows and doors are opened for fresh air.

Life is out in the open; Ishtar has rescued her vegetation lover from the underworld and our ancestors honoured her fertility with votive eggs and buns.

Time travellers dig and discover we ploughed the fields and scattered the good seed on the land around Syria and Iraq, ten thousand years ago
 (and so did I ),

Was grateful for our daily bread and rice, sowed wild oats, hope eternal.

The Druids knew Astarte and Baal represented seasons renewal, respecting

 Nature for our Mother Earth - they only guessed at was

One in a magnificent, vast universe of stars.

In Australia we worship what we came here with;

 The Anglo/Celts Crucifixion and Ressurection as inevitable Death and Life cycles

 and the origins of Eostre add innocent delight and chocolate!

Women ovulating understand  Estrogen hormones and give praise

for fair-trade as we salivate...

6 LEMONS JUICED - ADD Half cup Caster SUGAR - heat to dissolve - This = 1 cup of cordial to 6 cups of Water. Add a splash of Rosewater/chopped mintleaves. Keeps well in the fridge for a few days, or freeze into cubes and add to a jug for Refreshments.
